Tim Bernardes Releases Video For “A Balada De Tim Bernardes”

Tim Bernardes, who can currently be found captivating audiences around the world with recently-released album Mil Coisas Invisiveis, shares a video today for the track “A Balada de Tim Bernardes.” The song is one of Bernardes’ more personal, reflecting on becoming an adult, music as something simple and sacred, life as movement, and more. The lyrics are semi-freestyled- “everything was allowed,” Tim says about the song, sadness, jokes, emotions, serious things, profound things, light things. The video is a collage of old home videos from Tim’s childhood interwoven with more recent footage of Tim creating and communing with loved ones, inviting us into his life and his process.
Mil Coisas Invisíveis is a poignant collection of 15 songs composed, produced, mixed, directed, arranged, and played by Bernardes, with the help of Gui Jesus Toledo recording, supervising and mastering. The title of the album (A Million Invisible Things) amplifies the idea of all of the unseen forces that make our reality what it is. The songs touch upon themes like the journey of life to death to nostalgia, to the overwhelming feeling of missing someone- all of the small-yet-large moments that make the experience of existence what it is.
Bernardes continues his world tour, including dates in Europe supporting Fleet Foxes, and adding a new headlining show in London on October 11 at Third Man’s Blue Basement.
